Postpartum Beauty Saviours

Hello lovelies!

Trying to get every back on track again, however it appears that my desktop computer is in need of some major TLC, so it may be a little slow, but I'll get there.

I wanted to share with you some postpartum beauty saviours. I'm not talking about what to bring to the hospital with you, but products that have been an absolute saviour over the past (almost) 4 months.

Batiste Dry Shampoo
You'll have to come to terms that you don't get to shower whenever you want anymore. If you have a great napper, awesome, you might be able to squeeze in a shower. For the other times, dry shampoo is a god send. I love the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Beautiful Brunette since it has a touch of brown so it doesn't make my hair look grey or ashy.

Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist
Are the long nights catching  a up with you? In need of a little pick-me-up? This citrus facial mist awakens your complexion while the citrus scent awakens your senses. It doesn't replace washing your face, but for those days where you don't have time or need a mid-day boost, this has been awesome.

Benefit Cosmetics Puff Off!
Going on very little sleep and need to go out, yet you got a little baggage under your eyes? Concealer takes too much time. Benefit's Puff Off is a cooling eye gel made to smooth puffiness and creases around the eyes. The top is metal and shaped like a cute little clothes iron. It really helps with the puffiness and leaves my under-eyes feeling super smooth.

Lancôme Mister Big Mascara
If you only have 2 minutes, use a mascara! It'll make your eyes look bigger and easily makes you look more refreshed and awake. My favourite is Lancôme's Mister Big Mascara. It's the perfect amount of volume and length and lasts all day. Whichever mascara you choose, don't be afraid to invest in a good one. It might be the only makeup you get to wear most days.

Pixi Endless Brow Gel Pen and Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow
And if you have 4 minutes, do your brows. It'll transform your face instantly and will make you look put together. I love both, Pixi Endless Brow Pen and ABH Dip Brow. It just depends on how much time I have. 1 minute, Pixi. 2 minutes, ABH.

Nivea 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer
Love products that do double duty. Nivea's 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer leaves my skin smooth and moisturized, without feeling oily. Even in the Summer. Because of it's gel-like texture, a little goes a long ways and it feels a little cooling too. What I love about this, if I have time to throw on a powder foundation, I already got a good primer on too. Seriously, double duty items are amazing!

Marcelle Instant Eye Makeup Remover, Waterproof, Oil-Free
Because if you are able to spare a couple minutes during the day, you need to take it off at night. My personal favorite is Marcelle's Instant Eye Makeup Remover. Because of my day-proof mascara, I need something good to take off my makeup quickly and effortlessly.

While baby's sleeping at night, take advantage of this time and do a little skincare regime. You deserve it.

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil
Night time's the best time to moisturize and rejuvenate your skin. I've already mentioned in a previous post just how much I love Josie Maran's 100% Pure Argan Oil, and that love has not changed. With winter around the corner, your skin's going to thank you.

Pixi Peel & Polish
Pixi's Peel & Polish will leave your skin feeling smoother than a baby's bottom. You can use this up to twice a week, an all you have to do is apply it evenly (but not a lot!) on dry skin, let the enzyme's activate and do its thing then rinse off! Ok, it's a little more than that. The enzymes loosen dead skin cells, while other ingredients (such as lactic acid and sugar extracts) help to exfoliate and polish your skin. Leave it on your skin for 2 minutes, then you can add a little water and rub in a circular motion like an exfoliator, rinse off, and Voila! Smooth and refreshed face.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm
Honestly, pick an eye cream and start using it. Vichy's Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm helps decrease the look of tired eyes by distributing water throughout the applied area for 24 hours. Increased hydration = decrease in fine lines.

Neutrogena All-In-One Make-Up Removing Cleansing Wipes
There have been times where putting my eye makeup remover on a cotton pad seemed like too much work. For those days, makeup remover wipes are there for you, and Neutrogena hasn't failed me. For the days that you do manage to do a little more makeup, and maybe stay out past your new bedtime, the All-In-One Make-Up Removing Cleansing Wipes make taking off your face and getting to bed that much easier and faster.
